It’s Living Wage week! As recognised providers of The Living Wage Foundation, we want to share with you what Living Wage means to us and what Living Wage means to employees!
The Living Wage Foundation means that employees are paid according to the cost of living. Why is this so important? In today’s climate, sadly, many employees don’t have anything to show for their hard work! Why should someone work 35+ hours a week and live in poverty?
Here at Securist we believe in paying employees a fair wage that supports them. This wage is calculated to ensure that employees can provide for their families and support themselves also.

Here at Securist, morals are important to us. We want to make sure we are supporting our employees as we value them and we think that is ethically the right thing to do. Also, paying employees fairly, creates a happy work force!

Did you know, 75% of employees reported increases in work quality as a result of receiving the Living Wage?! Paying employees according to the Living Wage means employees don’t have to work at multiple jobs to be able to support themselves. They therefore share more time with their families, are more productive at work and are generally happier!
Not only is the Living Wage good for employees and their families, it is good for society. Paying employees at a rate that supports them means there is less poverty, and there are stronger relationships at home.
